The Australian Grains Industry Conference (AGIC) is the premier event on the Australian grains industry calendar, with participants from the Australian and global grains industry. It is an industry-organised event that provides a platform for exchange ideas with clients and industry decision-makers and to promote your business. The 2-day program builds an international and Australia-wide picture of the grains industry on Day 1, before delving into the detail of critical issues affecting the industry today and into the future, on Day 2.
AGIC also offers unequalled networking opportunities around a number of social events, the Welcome Reception, the Conference Dinner, the Networking Hub, and the AGIC Golf Day.
Day 1 - Builds 'the big picture' of what's happening in the grains industry around the world - ,key global supply and demand trends, major trade and political events, focus on key markets for Australian grains and competitor perspectives and the major transactional challenges affecting the industry.
Day 2 – Features interviews with industry leaders and delves into the detail of the main trends and issues affecting the grains industry. Hear speakers address production, quality, environmental, technical, technology and many more topics. Listen to experts and hear industry leaders put forward views on the challenges and the solutions.
Social events- AGIC 2018 will be preceded on 31 July by the IKON AGIC Golf Day, to be held at the prestigious Huntingdale Golf Club. After the great success of this event last year, demand for places this year is expected to be strong. The AGIC Welcome Reception, sponsored by GrainGrowers,will be held on the evening of 1 August, providing an ideal opportunity to meet and network with other Conference delegates early in the Conference. The ever-popular CBH Australian Grains Industry Conference Dinner will be held on the final evening of the Conference and this event offers great food and entertainment and a final opportunity to enjoy the company of other delegates.
